Our Fees and Rebates in Melbourne

A standard consultation is 55 minutes, and fees are payable at the time of consultation. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, debit card or credit card using an EFTPOS terminal.

You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $124.50 for up to ten sessions per calendar year. For more information, please refer to the APS Medicare Fact Sheet.

In order to obtain a rebate from Medicare, your GP needs to complete a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) with you. Please bring the referral cover letter and MHCP from your doctor to your first appointment along with your Medicare Card and your form of payment.

Medicare and HICAPS services are available, which will allow you to claim your Medicare rebate and Private Health rebate on the spot via the EFTPOS terminal. If you wish to use this service, please bring your current Medicare Card and EFTPOS cards to each session.

Certain Private Health funds provide rebates for psychological services. These rebates vary based on the level of coverage; contact your provider for more information. 

Patricia provides reduced fees and bulk billing for individuals and couples who are under financial duress, and for students and individuals on disability pension and/or age pension.
